One of Enfield's community libraries has reopened after relocating to a business centre.
Enfield Highway Library is now housed on the first floor of the Enfield Business Centre, and will be supported by an active user panel working with the council on how the library can benefit the community.
The library now offers new books for borrowing; faster, higher-quality and higher-resolution PCs, double the number of scanners and full access to the London Libraries Consortium with a shared catalogue of six million items.
The library will also be used to hold community meetings.
"Our aim was to provide an accessible and cost-effective facility to meet the needs of residents, but what I am most excited about is the fantastic support we have received from the local community."
